The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national organization of students engaged in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)

Mission Statement

Mission Statement

The Technology Student Association (TSA) enhances personal development, leadership, and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), whereby members apply and integrate these concepts through intracurricular activities, competitions, and related programs.

Vision Statement

TSA accelerates student achievement and supports teachers by providing engaging opportunities to develop STEM skills.

Motto

Learning to lead in today's technical world.

Who Can Join?

TSA is sponsored and supported by CTE, Career and Technical Education. For that reason, membership in TSA is limited to students who have taken a CTE course, or are enrolled in a CTE course this academic year. Consideration will also be given to students who are (or have been) enrolled in a CTE club as part of Mills Park's Club Day.

Because of the travel to competitions and events, both in and out of state, total membership is limited to 25 students

Please note that membership in TSA is a time commitment. Students are expected to attend all TSA Club meetings and events, and to spend time outside of school, studying and preparing for competitive events.

In addition to the time commitment, there are required membership dues for TSA. Students are expected to wear business attire and behave in a professional manner when attending competitive events and conferences. Students are responsible for paying registration fees, as well as travel, hotel, and food costs associated with competitive events and leadership conferences.

For more details about expectations for members, please refer to the "How to Join" tab above.
