Our program is based on parent coaches.  As a parent coach, you will be supported by experienced mentors at MPMS and within the Odyssey of the Mind North Carolina organization.  If you are interested in becoming a parent coach, please contact Mrs. Bonin at cbonin@wcpss.net, and she will be happy to tell you more about the program.

Generally, the coach selects the team members, and decides when and where the team will meet. Coach guides students as they read through the problem and make sure they are safe, and have materials they need (materials are provided by all parents on the team.)

Mrs. Bonin will be glad to give loads of advice about what to do in each team meeting, possible schedules, and general OM information.   Mrs. Bonin has been involved with Odyssey of the Mind for over 20 years, and has often been heard to say "OM changed my world....and even better, it positively affected my own children!!!  I can't say enough great things about my OM experiences."
