Check out one of these options to find a free e-book! Some options also have links to audiobooks, video libraries, and more.
Login to your WakeID portal.
Find the MackinVIA App in your WakeID portal.
Choose eBooks from the menu on the left.
Browse the ebooks or scroll down to Advanced Search if you want to narrow your search by genre (Fiction, Biography, etc.) or by other filters.
In list view, click Check-Out to check out the book and Open Now to begin reading.
In tile view, hover over the cover of the book for those same options.
Register for a temporary public library card here
(if you don't already have a library card).

Courtesy of Wake County libraries, families with a library card have access to Tutor.com for live online tutoring and Udemy for additional learning opportunities at no cost. The NC KIDS Digital Library also offers e-books for Kindle devices and reading apps at https://nckids.overdrive.com.
Students can access eBooks through EBSCO using their WakeID and explore reading options in myON through the Renaissance app, also available through WakeID. For help accessing your child's WakeID, contact your child's school.
