Summer Reading
at Wake County Public Libraries
The Summer Reading Program runs May 31 – Aug. 23, 2025, and is open to all ages! Kids, teens and adults are invited to participate. Any reading counts toward your goal — whether you’re listening to audiobooks, reading magazines, following a recipe, enjoying a graphic novel, exploring a web article, doing homework or even sharing a bedtime story!
Our library space is constantly being updated. Come check out our new furniture and layout in the media center!

Lunch Policy
Students may come to the Media Center with a pass to read, study, or use the computers. Passes are available in the library from 7-7:25 am or from any teacher. Food and drink are not permitted at any time.
Printing
Free for black and white text printing, but please limit yourself to a small number of pages 🖨️

Circulation Policies
Students may check out books (as many as you need) for 3 weeks at a time

Defining a Strong School Library Program
A strong school library program is a partnership made up of school leadership, the school community, and led by the school librarian.
The school library functions as the “hub” of the school. A strong school library program builds connections in these key areas to empower learners.
