Theatre Arts Educator
Isabel Kaczmarek is a compassionate theatre arts educator who is beginning her second year in the classroom this fall. Ms. Kaczmarek grew up attending school and working within productions in the Raleigh-Area and is a long time participant of the arts in Wake County. Prior to coming to Ligon Magnet MS, Ms. Kaczmarek served as a WCPSS substitute teacher since 2020-2021 school year and completed her student-teaching at Apex High School in 2023. She is thrilled to continue her journey in arts education as a teacher in the city that inspired her passion.
In the spring of 2023, Ms. Kaczmarek graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in K-12 Theatre Arts Education with both university and departmental honors. While at Appalachian, Ms. Kaczmarek often worked on mainstage department productions as an actor, director, stage manager and more!
Outside of the classroom, Ms. Kaczmarek is a devoted artist, participating in story-telling when and wherever she can. She continues educational theatre throughout the summer at Raleigh Little Theatre where she works as a teaching artist. When away from the stage, you will find her spending time with her family, reading way too many books, or watching something within the Star Wars universe.
