• Selected to align the new North Carolina Music Standards with Quaver Music curriculum (2025)

• WCPSS Elementary Music Staff Development Co-Chair (2022-2024)

• Chorus invited to sing at the Raleigh Fine Arts Choral Celebration at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts, National Anthem at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park (2024), and the Apex Tree Lighting as well as WCPSS Honors Chorus and Pieces of Gold (2022 to current)

• North Carolina Symphony education concert curriculum author/presenter (2015 and 2021)

• QuaverEd ambassador (2022-present)

• Quaver Music curriculum pilot school 2014-2020 until WCPSS adoption in 2020. Advocated to bring Quaver Music to 112 K-5 elementary schools in Wake County, NC by collaborating with the Quaver Q-munity, State Reps., our School Board, and Arts Coordinators! 

• Selected by WCPSS Arts Coordinators to work with two other colleagues on aligning our district pacing guide with Quaver Music (2020/21) and as a Virtual Academy curriculum writer.

• Selected by Quaver Music CEO, Graham Hepburn, as a team leader and contractor for various projects including the development of a student workbook for national school districts as well as the Department of Defense Schools (2021) and Quaver Teacher Ambassador (2022).

• Selected by WCPSS Lead Arts Coordinator to write Virtual Academy curriculum for all K-5 students in the district (2021-22).

• Featured on UNC-TV North Carolina Now television program (2015)

• Yamaha MIE piano keyboard program article in the Raleigh News and Observer (2014)
