Below are suggestions for your grade level tech lessons each week. They will almost always be posted in your Tech Google Classroom. You can access this through your WakeID Portal - the students access this classroom each week during my class when we are in school so they should be familiar with the process.
You are always welcome to take learning into your own hands and learn/practice with something else that might interest you. You can aso access many technology links in your WakeID Portal (Discovery Ed, BrainPop, Dreambox, Letterland, NCWiseOwl) and on the HSES Site under Student Links.
If you would like to spend some time unplugged, here are some options for you as well.
"You plan for the future and achieve your goals by making careful everyday choices" (Positivity Project)
Think about you plans for the future once the remote learning school year ends. This is the first time year round students will all have an extended amount of time off in the summer months. Let's use that time wisely and plan a few goals to achieve.
Here is a Summer To Do List that you can use to document 5 goals you have for the summer. You will need to click on "Make a copy" when you click the link. Make sure you are logged into you WCPSS Google account first.
Want to make your own? Here is a tutorial showing one way to make your own Summer Goals list in Google Slides.
Feel free to share you list with me (equigley@wcpss.net)
This week’s P2 Character Strength is Appreciation of Beauty. Check out a Google tool (Google Arts and Culture) that you probably haven’t used much to check out some of the natural beauty in America’s National Parks.

If you want to share something you saw, you can comment on the last assignment in your Google Classroom assignment. When you comment, I get a notification so I will be able to read it and respond!
