I'm originally from Michigan and moved to North Carolina 23 years ago. I currently live in Apex with my family. I have 3 awesome kids, Paige, Skylar and Gavin. We LOVE sports and I spend a lot of my time watching them play in their games and cheering them on. I absolutely adore children and love raising them and teaching them as well. I've always wanted to be a teacher...and feel lucky to be in a profession that makes coming to work so much fun!

I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Arizona State University and then went on to earn my master's degree from the University of North Carolina.

I am a Nationally Board Certified Teacher who taught one year in Arizona before moving to North Carolina. I then taught second and third grade in Durham Public schools for nine years. I am excited to be entering my ninth year at Highcroft Drive Elementary!
