Hi! My name is Audra Hale and I am looking forward to working with you all this school year. This will be my fourth year teaching 5th grade and my 13th year as a classroom teacher! I am excited to be a part of the Highcroft team as this school is very special to me as I have been a Highcroft parent for 9 years, but my girls have moved onto middle and high school now. 

My husband (Brian) and I have 2 daughters - Maci in 7th grade and Bailey in 10th grade. We have a dog, Rudy who is the best mutt ever! He follows me around the house and often lays his head in my lap while I'm working. In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing at the lake, hiking with my husband, reading, and paddleboarding. 

Professionally, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and my Master's degrees in Elementary Education from Virginia Tech. Also, I earned my National Board Certification in 2007 and renewed this certification in 2017. I was a classroom teacher  in Florida. Then I wrote curriculum for an online education company for several years. Starting in 2018, I began to work for ECU (East Carolina University) where I taught a variety of online courses for pre-service teachers and supervised student teachers.

I am excited to be back in 5th grade at Highcroft!

Hi there! I am Rachel Mahoney and I am so excited to be a Highcroft Husky again! This will be my 4th year at Highcroft.

I have the most amazing parents and two sisters, Cristina and Michelle. I also have two of the cutest pups, Charlie and Sunnie. I grew up in Pennsylvania and am a huge Pittsburgh Penguins fan! I also love crafting, fitness, and reading!

I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Language Arts and Behavioral Studies from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I am currently working towards my Masters of Science in Learning Design and Technology at North Carolina State University. Go PACK!

Hi everyone! My name is Katrina Turlington and this is my fourth year at Highcroft and 16th year in education! 

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Campbell University and a Master of Arts in Education degree in Instructional Technology from ECU. I previously taught in Harnett County for 12 years before joining the Highcroft family in 2022. This year, I am beginning to work towards my National Board Certification.

I am married and have one son who is in middle school. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, crafting, cooking, and spending time outside.

Hi! My name is Jesse Page! I live in Fuquay Varina with my wife Trish, our daughter Lucy, our two dogs Olive and Izzy, and our two cats Sushi and Marvel. You may see Mrs. Page and Lucy around Highcroft, as Lucy is a 3rd grader and Mrs. Page teaches 1st grade! I enjoy playing music, watching and playing sports, and spending time with my family. In 2015, I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education from East Carolina University.  Go Pirates! AARRGGHH!! I teach Math and Science, and this will be my 10th year teaching at Highcroft Drive Elementary. I am excited to have a Husky Strong year with you!  

Hi everyone! My name is Sophia Rupkalvis and this is my second year at Highcroft Drive Elementary School teaching 5th grade! I am so excited for this upcoming year!

I grew up in a military family, so I have lived in six different states and one other country. I have an amazing family with two sisters, Allie and Olivia. My whole extended family is all from Baltimore, Maryland, so I am a huge Baltimore Ravens and Orioles fan.

I also love animals, specifically dogs! I have fostered and trained two dogs through a service dog organization. Both of them are now matched with someone and serve as service dogs everyday!

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I then stayed at UNC-Chapel Hill and graduated with my Masters of Arts in Teaching. Go Heels!
