Registration Dates:

PowerSchool Registration will open for Track 2, 3, and 4 starting:

Monday, March 10 Track 2, 3 & 4 Registration Presentation Video during K9
March 10 - 14 Students register in PowerSchool from home
Monday, March 17 Track 2, 3, & 4 Deadline for registration
March 17 - 21 Track 2, 3, & 4 Registration wrap up with counselors

PowerSchool Registration will open for Track 1 starting:

Monday, March 31st Track 1 Registration Presentation Video during K9
March 31 - April 7 Students register in PowerSchool from home
Monday, April 7 Track 1 Deadline for registration
April 7 - 11 Track 1 Registration wrap up with counselors

Middle School Planning Guide

This link is a guide about courses offered in middle school in Wake County. Middle school students complete a required core academic program of language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, and healthful living. Students also participate in an elective program and choose from offerings such as second languages, the arts, and career and technical education. Course selection varies by school.

Math Information and Waiver Form

This is the link to the math waiver form that needs to be filled out if going against teacher recommendation for math placement for the 2024-2025 school year. Before making this request, consider and discuss the Middle School Math Placement Guidelines, test scores, grades, classroom performance, work habits, motivation, individual learning style, and academic needs as they pertain to math class with your student's current Math teacher.
