February 23: Parent letters go home in Monday folders
February 25-27: Students receive registration packets during specials, take home to fill out with parents
March 19: Registration packets due back to Ms. Headley
March 23-25: Students complete registration with Ms. Headley during specials
March 27: Completed registration form goes home to parents; sign and return to Ms. Headley after spring break
April 7-10: Registration for students who were absent in March, and/or any changes to registration choices per parent requests
April 10: Last day of registration, signed registration forms due back by this date

If you are interested in your student attending a Magnet school (that is not your base), please note the following:
October 15, 2025 - January 22, 2026 was the application window for Magnet and year-round schools.
February 20, 2026 is when notification of application results were sent out.
March 3 - March 13, 2026 is when the Transfer and Magnet Second Round applications will be open. See more information HERE.

The schools listed below are all of the schools our 5th graders are currently assigned to for the 2026-2027 year.
All students will complete registration, even if you plan to switch your student to a school outside of WCPSS (private, charter, or out of the county).
Registration is open March 9-April 10, 2026. Paper copies of registration forms will be sent home the last week of February for you and your child to fill out. Students will return the paper and register with me, at school. A printed copy of what your child registered for and their core class recommendations will be sent home for you to review and request any changes before the registration period ends.
