The program is divided in 10 chapters that integrate the themes and context outlined by the Advanced Placement French Language and Culture Framework to present material as the exam does.
We will be using authentic texts and audios from 30 Francophone cultures that represent a variety of style and genres including creative writing, poems, letters, informal writing, contracts, blogs and forums.
Each chapter begins with essential questions to guide critical thinking, as well as clearly articulate task- based proficiency objectives.
Students practice for the exam by completing two, seven-task mini AP exams per chapter as well as 20 practice exercises for what many students find to be the most stress-inducing AP task- Interpersonal Speaking: Conversation.
