June Haggy is the Pre-K Structured Teaching Instructor. She has been teaching preschool students for 23 + years. She has been with Wake County Public Schools for 22 years and was one of the five original preschool special needs teachers when the program began in 1991. She has a Masters Degree in Special Education and is currently completing a Ph.D. in General Psychology with an emphasis in Cognition and Instruction.

She loves working with young children and working together with their families to see their children learn, grow, and reach their potential. She enjoys teaming with others to provide, engaging, inclusive, and fun learning opportunities for her students.

During her few minutes of free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She has three grown children ages 18-24. With one starting college this year and another one starting a career in the army those moments together have been precious.

She also enjoys taking walks, biking, working outside, and Cricut projects. She and her husband have recently discovered an affinity for Corn Hole as well.
