I recommend you rent an instrument if you are a beginner. If you think your student is ready to buy an instrument, I will be glad to give you recommendations. Please do not buy an instrument online unless I have looked at it. There are a lot of “toy” instruments out there. I would not want you to waste your time and money. 

Please contact me if your student needs to borrow a school instrument during the school year. 

Cello and bass will need to have an instrument at home to practice on.
