The Tenor & Bass Ensemble was formed in the fall of 2020. This choir belongs to 9th-12th grade singers who sing in the Tenor and Bass ranges. Through differentiated instruction, these students continue their growth in vocal technique, music theory, leadership, and literacy skills each school year. This choir is for any Tenor or Bass that wants a music making home at GHHS! There's something special about starting the school day with this fun group.
The Beginning Treble Choir is for all Sopranos and Altos that are either in 9th grade or are new to singing at GHHS. This choir is the foundation and future of the choral program; therefore, it is very important that these students have a strong start with basics healthy vocal production. If you're looking for a class with some awesome community, this is it!
The Advanced Treble Choir is an auditioned only choir made up of 10th-12th grade treble voiced singers. Students in this ensemble are expected to have a higher level of music theory and history knowledge, as well as an advanced understanding of the voice and how it functions healthfully. This ensemble often sings 4-8 part music of diverse styles and unique musical challenges.
