The chorus program at Green Hope High School is dedicated to creating a community for students to grow as musicians and people. While music is what brings us together, we don't hesitate to pause for a laugh, grab some ice cream from Goodberry's, or have a karaoke hang out during lunch! In our rehearsals, we celebrate vulnerability, hard work, flexibility, and our community. We hope that you'll consider joining us for our upcoming concert or signing up to become a member of the chorus family!
Mr. Botwick is drawn to teaching music because of the community that it creates. Growing up in Holly Springs, NC, he quickly fell in love with choral music and decided to pursue his passion at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a Tar Heel, Mr. Botwick participated in the UNC Men's Glee Club, the Tar Heel Voices A Cappella Club, and UNC Opera. He received a Bachelors in Music Education and Vocal Performance. Mr. Botwick is looking forward to beginning his 6th year at Green Hope and working with some of his favorite people. Outside of teaching and music, he loves playing pickleball, going on walks with his dogs, Paco and Winnie, and watching "Ted Lasso" with his wife, Kristen.
