Math 7 Plus is an accelerated curriculum containing the remainder of Math 7 units students did not learn in Math 6 Plus as well as ALL of the Math 8 units.

Wake County math curriculum is from Open Up Resources (Illustrative Mathematics). This is a collaborative and application based method of involving students in their own mathematical learning.

Each student receives their own workbook for each unit. Often, we will complete class activities in their workbook. They also will have regular homework in their workbook. There are 4-6 Practice Problems at the end of each lesson. The first 2 to 3 problems cover new concepts from the day and the last few problems are review topics.

Since Math 7 Plus is an accelerated class, students will often be learning 2 lessons per day which results in 2 sets of Practice Problems for nightly homework.
