Hi! My name is Shannon Garrison. This will be my 21st year teaching. I have previously taught 2nd grade and Kindergarten in WCPSS. I am a Carolina girl and have lived here my whole life.  I grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina.  

I received my bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State in Elementary Education K-6 and my Master’s degree from North Carolina State in Reading Education K-12. 

I have a passion for teaching and my favorite subject has always been literacy (Reading and writing).   I love technology and learning new ways to utilize it. I have received my Google Certification.
