It takes a village to raise a child (and a band program!) - We're grateful to have a wonderful group of parents and family members who are willing to help out with the activities that their students are involved in. Our organization is a 501c3 tax exempt non-profit group. We meet once a quarter at 7pm in the Band Room. Our next meeting is April 2, 2020.
Volunteer opportunities are available ALL year and here are just a few of those opportunities:
- Serving on the parent booster executive board (president, VP, treasurer, secretary, etc.)
- Attending quarterly meetings
- Assist moving equipment and supervising during football game performances and competitions
- Transporting/Hauling the band trailer to and from competitions
- Chaperoning for competitions and spring trips
- Building props and equipment for our competitive ensembles
- Helping coordinate and serve food during band camp and other performances
- Helping to collect admission at concerts and or to hand out programs
- Uniform fittings
- Contacting local businesses and organizations
