As I enter adulthood, the first thing I will invest in is a house.  This decision is influenced by sister's brother.  He has been buying old houses, fixing them up, and reselling them.  This is why my first invest will be a house. Not just any house; my grandmother's house. She has an old house in Wake Forest, NC. Not to mention she's getting older and the bills are becoming harder and harder for her to pay. So I want to be able to finish paying her landlord rent and actually buy the house, add another story to it, redo the floors, redo the kitchen, and get new appliances, and then sell the house. I want to flip a few houses but I think my grandmother's house would be a great start.
