As the first magnet high school in Wake County, Enloe has been a home for developing visual and performing artists for over 35 years. Grand musicals and plays with elaborate sets, costumes, sound and light designs, mural installations, breathtaking dance concerts, awe inspiring choral performances, thrilling orchestra concerts, explosive band concerts, daily live news broadcasts from The ‘Loe Down and the Down ‘Loe, and even entry level students exploring piano, studio arts, TV and Audio Production, costuming, tech theater, acting, and orchestra—it seems impossible that one high school could offer such a wide range of high quality arts education and experience at a single public school program.
Here in the Enloe Magnet High School Arts Department, that is our mission: To enhance and deepen all students’ educational experience through the enriching power of creating, collaborating, exploring, and experiencing visual and performing arts.

Enloe Magnet High School has the largest Arts department in Wake County Public School System and in many ways the arts are a cornerstone of what our magnet programs offer the students, families, community, staff, and the school district.
