This model describes the habits and behaviors exhibited when conducting research:
evaluate: an ongoing part of the process that occurs at each step
wonder: activate thinking, generate curiosity, build background information, develop questions
investigate: construct meaning from text, graphics, multimedia; manage the search process; record information in own words
synthesize: build meaning, connect ideas, identify relationships, draw conclusions
express: communicate new knowledge, create, construct, invent
