DRMS Dive-Thru, our curbside library book pick-up service, begins on Wednesday, September 16th, 2020! Read through the information below to place books on hold and learn about the process for picking them up at school.
Check this space often as this process will continue to be improved to best meet the reading needs of our students!
Students place books on hold by visiting the DRMS Destiny Discover Library Catalog (screencast tutorial below)
Students and parents check their email for a message from Ms. Aldridge confirming that their books are ready for pick-up.
Once students or parents reply to their confirmation email, then their books are available for pick-up!
Books will be checked out to students.
When you arrive at the front of the school, exit the car (please wear a face mask) and ring doorbell.
Tell the receptionist you are there to pick up library books and give the student's name. Someone will hand the books to you in a brown paper bag.
Place any library books you're finished with in the return bin.
Students/parents who come for book pick-up are required to wear a mask on campus, even outdoors.
