Anticipation Guide
Fisher and Frey (2020) conclude that anticipation guide is “an ideal opportunity to connect [it] with a strategy employed by critical readers- the self-assessment of beliefs and assumptions that may be supported or disputed by a reading” (p.24). The researchers suggest using anticipation guides for promoting class- discussions when constructed for use of the texts that are controversial or commonly misunderstood.
