Welcome to week 4!

Thank you so much for all of your support as we began our full schedule last week. We have been very impressed with how well the kids have been handling the longer day and how patient they are as we all figure out the best ways to have them show what they have learned.

What we are learning:

** Letterland- we will begin unit 1. The spelling test for this unit will not be until next Monday.

** EL (reading/writing)- we will be reading the book The Invisible Boy and work on asking and answering questions.

**Math- we will continue to learn about odd and even and on Thursday we will have a test on number lines and odd/even numbers.

** Social Studies- we will have a quiz on citizenship and being a good citizen. Then we will begin to learn about government.

Reminders

• Please be sure your child has his or her materials beside them when they start their meetings for the day. They need to have their math binder, EL workbook, notebook paper, pencils and crayons or markers.

• Also, a friendly reminder that the rest of the students can see and hear everyone in the background if your child’s camera and mic is on. :)
