Dear 4th/5th grade Students and Parents,

Conn is getting ready to start another fun-filled season of Science Olympiad! Science Olympiad is a cross between a Science Fair and Track Meet. Interested students will work on two projects from different fields of Science. Students who show keen motivation and outside preparation on their projects may be selected to represent Conn at the Regional Science Olympiad Tournament on Saturday, February 10, 2024.

The club is open to any fourth or fifth grade student interested in working with teams to conduct research, test, analyze, and build. We will meet every Thursday we are in school from 8:00-8:45 starting September 14. Drop off time is between 7:55 and 8 at the front doors. I will wait for the students at the first meeting. Ms. Jones will buzz expected students in from thereon in.

Please email me to let me know your student will attend.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Nancy Hanley
