The checkout period for physical books in our library is 3 weeks. For eBooks from our online collection, the checkout period is 7 days.

No. As long as the book is returned to the library, there is no fine.

Yes. Books that are lost or damaged beyond repair will incur a replacement fee.
What if my child accidentally returned a book that doesn't belong to the CMES library?
What if my child accidentally returned a book that doesn't belong to the CMES library?
Don't worry! It happens all the time. If the book belongs to the Wake County Public Library or to a teacher's classroom library, it will be returned. If the book has a name in it, it will be returned to the student. Books that have no identification will be held for one month in the library lost and found (see Mrs. Page).
