Single-Subject Acceleration (SSA) is an opportunity for advanced students to take either math or reading with the grade level above them. The regular testing window for SSA happens in the spring, and students who qualify begin SSA services the following school year. Families who are newly enrolling in WCPSS at the start of this school year, who did not have the opportunity to take part in SSA testing last spring, may be eligible for fall testing.
