Single Subject Acceleration

Single-Subject Acceleration (SSA) is an opportunity for advanced students to take either math or reading with the grade level above them.  If you request SSA testing for your child, please keep this information in mind:

• You can request testing in either math or reading, but not both.

• SSA tests are based on content from the grade level above your child. Your child will not have learned this material in school.

• You must use the form linked below.  Please check for your confirmation email and keep it for your records. This will be your only record of having registered your child for SSA testing.

The form will stay open until March 28 at 5:00 pm.  All requests must be made before then. SSA tests will be given between April 11 and April 25.  See the slideshow below for more details, and contact Miriam Perez at mperez@wcpss.net with any questions.
