Classroom Expectations:
1. Be Respectful: Always listen and follow directions. Raise your hand. Wait your turn to talk.
2. Be Responsible: Come to class prepared to learn. Have your T.R.A.V.E.L. Binder and materials organized neatly inside your desk. Complete your homework and bring it back to school. Always do your best.
3. Be Safe: Walk quietly in the hallways. Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
4. Be Honest: If you don't understand something, ask for help. Always tell the truth the first time.
5. Be Polite: Try to express your opinions in a nice way. Say please and thank you.
Whole Class Positive Reinforcement:
Our class will be utilizing the blue MES chart to earn red "apples" when our entire class is caught showing great M.E.S Behavior. Remember at Morrisville we:
Make Responsible Choices
Exercise Self Control
Show Kindness and Respect
When we fill up our MES chart, then we will earn a reward that we will vote on as a whole class.
Small Group Positive Reinforcement:
Our class will be working as small table groups to collect table points for positive behaviors. When a table group has filled up their "Passport" by collecting 20 stamps from different countries, then the members of that table will get to choose a motivator for showing a "Passport to Good Behavior!"
Individual Positive Reinforcement:
Each child in our class will receive a small "Landmark Achievements" card that they will keep at their desk. When they earn 20 teacher initials, they will take their card home and get to choose a motivator from the list below.
Possible Motivators:
Bring a Stuffed Animal to School
Write with a Pen for a Day
No Reading Homework for a Night
Switch Seats for a Day
No Math Homework for a Night
5-10 Minute Technology or Drawing Break
Chew Gum in Class
Pick Your Partner for a Day
Switch Classroom Jobs with a Classmate
Get a Positive Note Home
Choose an Item from the Treasure Box
Opportunities for Growth:
When a student is not making expected or appropriate choices, then I will handle it in a manner that is appropriate to the situation.

Encouragement to utilize the "Take a Break" spot to help refocus and engage in calm down activities
Individual/private student conference with teacher
