I am so excited for another year at Buckhorn Creek Elementary being one of your school counselors! This will be my 7th year working in education and my third year in Wake County. I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from High Point University and a Masters of Education in School Counseling from UNC Chapel Hill. I am originally from Baltimore, Maryland (Go Ravens!), and have been in the North Carolina area for about 5 years now. I love working out, going for walks, shopping, and spending time with friends and family. I am SO grateful for another amazing school year at BCES!

Hello! My name is Jennifer McCloud, and I am proud to be in my 16th year as a school counselor. I recently completed my Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Administration and Supervision and earned my administrative licensure, which has deepened my passion for supporting students, families, and school communities.

As a school counselor, I enjoy helping students grow socially, emotionally, and academically while building strong partnerships with teachers and families. My goal is to create a supportive environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, playing golf, and spending time with my husband and our cats.
