Whole Group Lessons - The AIG teacher works in partnership with 3rd grade classroom teachers to serve as talent scouts, in order to provide a variety of in-class experiences designed to elicit high academic performance. This will also include CogAt prep classes to prepare students for the CogAt assessments in the fall.
CogAT & IOWA Testing
CogAT & IOWA Testing
3rd grade students will begin CogAT testing in the beginning of November. These scores will be released to the school and parents throughout November. We will begin analyzing student scores and determining who needs additional testing (IOWA) in December. The IOWA testing window for 3rd graders at traditional schools in Wake County is in early December.
