Officer Positions and Responsibilities
President
The President will attend monthly Presidents' meetings, fill out monthly reports, lead meetings in school, communicate frequently with advisors and the lieutenant governor, and look over other board members.
Vice President
Vice president assists the president and leads Key Club as a whole. You will help lead club-wide meetings, attend monthly Presidents' meetings with the lieutenant governor, and take on other various responsibilities within the board.
Secretary
As secretary you will design flyers, create meeting PowerPoints, and keep Key Club's information organized. You will manage the Key Club website as well as take notes during meetings.
Communications
Communications officer will send out Reminds, manage the Key Club email, and answer questions through Remind and email. You must reply quickly to communication and stay in close contact with event coordinators.
Event Coordinators - *3 spots because of the workload*
As event coordinator you will find new service opportunities for Key Club members. This requires knowledge of organizations and lots of time to contact coordinators. You must be able to write professional emails, maintain a sign up genius, and keep close contact with the communications officer. Since 50 hours are required for Key Club, it's vital that you find a variety of opportunities for members.
General Responsibilities as a Board Member:
Inputting members' information into the Key Club portal
Attending monthly meetings and being active in respective positions
Counting hours at the end of the year
Keeping in contact with other board members and Mrs. Batten
Attending as many Key Club events as possible
