Application

To be considered for membership in the Athens Drive Science Olympiad Team, students must complete the five(5) step application process described below on or before Friday September 25th, 2026. 

• Completing this Application Process does not guarantee team membership.

• The process for team selection is described in the Athens Drive Science Olympiad Team Handbook Pg. 7.

Athens Drive Science Olympiad Application

1) You and your parents/guardians must read  and understand the entirety of the Science Olympiad Team Handbook.

• You and your parent/guardian must sign return the Athens Drive Science Olympiad Acknowledgement & Agreement document to Mr. Roberts.

• This document is near the end of the Handbook.You can print it at home or get paper copies from Mr. Roberts.

• It is due due by the end of school on Friday, September 25th, 2026.

2) You must then take the Science Olympiad Team Handbook Quiz.

• Your score can impact team selection.

• This must be completed before midnight on Friday, September 25th, 2026

3) You must fill out and return the Parent Consent and Student Medical Information for School Trips and return them to Mr. Roberts.

• These forms are the last two pages of the handbook. You can print them at home or get paper copies from Mr. Roberts.

• They are due by the end of school on Friday, September 25th, 2026.

4) Complete the  Application Survey

• This survey includes a teacher recommendation where you provide the teacher's email and I contact the teacher. 

• You should get the teachers approval to list them as a reference prior to submitting their information.

5) Once the tournament schedule is released, Mr. Roberts will send out an Event Preference Survey through the club Remind.  

• This must be completed before midnight on Friday, September 25th, 2026.

Failure to complete all 5 steps of the application process by Friday September 25th  will result in your removal for consideration for the Science Olympiad Program at Athens Drive. 

ADSO Application 5 step check list to be complete by Friday September 25th, 2026:

▢ Read the handbook, sign and return the Handbook Acknowledgment Form.

▢ Take the Handbook Quiz.

▢ Complete and Return the Parent Consent and Student Medical Information for School Trips forms.

▢ Complete the Application Survey

▢ Complete the Event Prefernce Survey (Once it is sent out through Remind)
