Beginning in the 2021-2022 school year, Athens Drive partnered with the national nonprofit, Project Invent. The program partners students with a local community partner, and the student team is tasked with creating a tangible, technology-based invention to help their partner. Students will design, prototype, build, and market their invention. Students dive deep into the engineering design process and learn many new skills along the way. The process concludes with pitching their product to judges in the tech field for the chance to compete for funding to improve their product!

FIRST Robotics - The Hitchhikers
Athens Drive is the home of the Hitchhikers, a FIRST Robotics competition team that works to build robots to accomplish specific goals and compete in national competitions! The team's ideals are closely aligned to many STEM ideals and many of our Academy students participate with the team.
