All seniors in the STEM Academy take the STEM Capstone course, a project design course modeled after the final design classes that Engineering Colleges use, in the spring of their senior year. Typically they address one of the NAE Grand Challenges for Engineering - 14 goals aimed at "improving life on the planet" per the National Academy of Engineers.
All Senior projects are completed in the Spring Semester of a student's senior year while enrolled in the STEM Capstone class. More details will be provided to students regarding their project options at that time.
