Mrs. Feldman is a graduate of the West Virginia University with a degree in journalism, Marymount University with a Masters in Education, and Western Carolina University with a Masters in School Administration. She has 24 years of experience as an educator. Mrs. Feldman has worked in Washington DC and Virginia prior to beginning her career in the Wake County Public School System. Prior to working at Dillard Drive Middle School, Mrs. Feldman worked at Wake Young Women’s Leadership Academy, Salem Middle School, and Williamsburg Middle School. She is currently an instructor at North Carolina State University. In her free time, Ms. Feldman enjoys traveling, running, and attending sporting events with her husband and two children, McKenzie and Ryan. She is honored to be the principal at Dillard Drive Middle School and is an advocate for all students. She is inspired by her colleagues and excited to work with such dedicated educators at Dillard Drive Middle School.

Colin Lowry was born in Northern Ireland, just outside the city of Belfast, and attended the University of Ulster obtaining an undergraduate degree in American History. He spent a study abroad year at UNC-Chapel Hill, as part of this degree, and soon fell in love with the Triangle area. Moving to North Carolina he started his 26 year career in education as a teacher assistant in Chapel Hill at Seawell Elementary School. After moving to Raleigh, he obtained his teacher certificate in Social Studies at St. Augustine's College and after student teaching at Enloe High School started with the Wake County Public School System as a substitute teacher. His first teaching position was at Ligon GT Magnet Middle School teaching 6th Grade Social Studies. While still teaching, he enrolled in the Masters in School Administration Program at NC State University and upon completion of this Master’s Program, he became an Assistant Principal at Dillard Drive Middle school in 2002. Mr. Lowry continues to reside in Raleigh with his wife and son, and in his free time is an avid lifetime soccer supporter of his beloved Liverpool FC, Tarheel basketball, and Hurricanes hockey. He is also has served for over twelve years on the Wake County Division of Principals and Assistant Principals Board.

I am a graduate of Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fl, with a BA in Human Development, and Barry University, in Miami Shores, Fl, with a Master’s of Social Work. I have 25 years of experience as a Social Worker, both in not-for-profit work and School Social Work. This is my 2nd year at Dillard Drive Middle School, and prior to coming to Dillard, I have worked in Prevention Services, Gang Education, and SCORE, all for Wake County Public Schools, as well as Durham Public Schools, Austin ISD, and Broward County Schools. In my free time, I enjoy reading, the beach, and watching football with my husband and my two children. I have 2 daughters, Maya is 11, and Ella is 6 years old. I am excited to be back at Dillard Drive Middle School as the School Social Worker, and look forward to working with students and families.

I am a native New Yorker, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BS degree in History, and Hunter College in New York City with a MS degree in Elementary Education. I have 15 years of experience teaching students in preschool, elementary and middle school in both general education and special education. I have taught in New York City Public Schools, Cary private schools and most recently in Raleigh in the Wake County Public School System.
In my spare time, I enjoy running (when I can find the time) and spending time with friends and her family. I live in Apex with my husband and two children who attend Apex Middle School and Apex High School. I am honored to work with the students and families at Dillard Drive Magnet Middle School this year!

Mr. Rollins is from Rocky Mount, NC. He received a Bachelors of Sociology from Saint Augustine’s University, then earned his Master’s in Educational Management from Strayer University. He’s a 6th grade Special Education Math teacher and is excited to meet his new students! He’s also currently making wedding plans with his fiancée, Amber!
