Get to know me: This is my second year at Moore Square. I have no pets and one son. Some of my favorite things include: eating at Chili’s, shopping at Target, iced white mochas, tulips, reading, and playing games.

What will we be learning about this year? We will continue to build on concepts that will prepare you for high school math. We will dive deeper into geometry concepts such as circles, transformations, and prisms. We will practice algebra through slope, functions, and the Pythagorean Theorem. We will also learn more about sampling data and probability.
Get to know me: This is my first year at Moore Square and I am feeling grateful to be here. Outside of school, I enjoy visiting my family who live on the coast of NC and finding any excuse to be outside such as hiking, biking, running, etc. My favorite things include vanilla iced coffees, Target, dark chocolate, running, baking, reading, and visiting local coffee shops.

Get to know me: This is my first year teaching at Moore Square Middle School and I am excited to be here! Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband and my dog, Wrigley. We enjoy watching movies and playing card games. I am a huge fan of Disney and Taylor Swift. My favorite things include Dr. Pepper and sweet tea, Chick-fil-A, Target, any Disney movie, and doodling for fun!

What will we be learning about this year? We will be exploring about 500 years of history, picking up where the students left off in 6th grade. We will be learning about the Renaissance, World Wars, modern conflicts, current events, and so much more! Through interactive activities such as mock trials, projects, and HIT notebooks, we are going to make Social Studies interesting and fun.
