The Health Room is required for each room and is located the main Front Office. The Health Room will be used for our children who need to take doctor-prescribed medication during the day or for the students who become symptomatic of any illness.

• A health room is a designated space to isolate symptomatic individuals who become ill during the school day or disclose that they have tested positive for COVID-19. (both individuals who are sick or not feeling well and those with COVID symptoms can be in the health room at the same time).

• Individuals sick or not feeling well should wear a mask while waiting in the health room to leave the facility.

• Ensure symptomatic individuals remain under visual supervision of a staff member while waiting to leave the facility.

• Supervising staff members should wear masks while in the health room.

The Health Room can only render students rest on the Health room bed, Band-Aids, soap and water, TLC, and temperature checks. Students will stay in the Health Room only while waiting to be picked up by a parent/guardian or authorized adult.
