Title 1 School/Family/Student Compact

The school, families, and students are responsible for developing a partnership to ensure that all students achieve the state’s high academic standards.

School/Teacher Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate instruction to enable students to achieve the state standards, in a supportive and caring environment.

• Communicate with the family(agenda, Dojo messages, email, telephone calls, report cards, interims, progress reports, conferences)and provide opportunities to be informed and involved.

• Provide families with opportunities to participate in educational family engagement events.

 Family Responsibilities

• Read to and/or with my child read at least 15 minutes each day.

• Encourage my child to practice math facts.

• Support the school in its efforts to maintain discipline, punctuality, and regular attendance.

• Establish a quiet time and place for homework and review it carefully.

• Review Title I newsletters and participate in Title I family engagement events, Open House, and PTO events.

  Student Responsibilities

• Read independently or with a family member for at least 15 minutes daily.

• Practice math facts daily.

• Complete and return homework daily.

• Cooperate with my teachers and Title I staff.

• Participate in Title I family engagement events and PTO events.

• Be responsible for my own behavior and learning.

• Expect to be successful.
