🚀 Communications Assistant Apprentice – Meritus Medical Center
Job Description:
The Communications Assistant supports the Corporate Communications team in promoting the mission, services, and initiatives of the health system. This entry-level role helps create and manage digital and marketing content across multiple platforms including the website, intranet, and social media.
In this position, you will collaborate with communication and marketing professionals to develop engaging content that informs employees, patients, and the community about the organization.
What a Typical Day Looks Like
A typical day may include a variety of communication and marketing tasks such as:
Updating or editing website and intranet content
Scheduling or monitoring social media posts
Assisting with marketing and communication campaigns
Gathering photos or content from departments across the organization
Supporting internal communications to employees
Collaborating with the Corporate Communications team on projects
Work is typically performed in an office setting using communication platforms, content management systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the development of marketing and communication plans that support organizational goals
Help produce and distribute internal and external communication materials
Maintain and update website, intranet, and social media platforms
Collect photos, stories, and content to support marketing initiatives
Support the Corporate Communications team with additional assignments and projects

Minimum Qualifications
Entry-level position
Related experience in writing, marketing, communications, or digital media preferred
