Pre-Kindergarten Enrollment will Begin Mid-March
Step 1: You must first complete an application for enrollment which will begin on March 17, 2025 (English or Spanish - applications will be available on March 17th) You can pick a hard copy up at any elementary school, or you can click on the links above to get a copy. Along with the application, you must also submit proof of income. Suggested income documents are listed in Section 5 of the application. ALL incomes are accepted for enrollment. For additional information, please review the WCPS FAQ. We simply collect and secure this information for state reporting and Blueprint.
Step 2: Complete the application/proof of income, and submit those items in any of the following ways:

Drop off at any elementary school or WCPS Central Office.
Step 3: The Office of Early Learning will review your application, and send you additional information through the US Mail within 2 weeks of receiving your information or via email if you marked that option on the application. When you receive notification from us, you can call the elementary school your child will attend to make an appointment for final enrollment. When you have gathered all the documents below, please call the school your child will attend to make an appointment to enroll.
A photo ID of parent/legal guardian enrolling student
Child's birth certificate
Proof of Residency (current w/in 90 days)
Custody Documents (if applicable)
