If your student has never attended a WCPS school, parents/legal guardians may register their child online.
If your student is transfering from a school within the WCPS school system, or if you child was previously enrolled in a WCPS school and you are returning to the district, please reach out directly to the school where your child will be enrolling to complete the registration process.
WCPS recommends using a desktop computer to complete online registration (OLR). This makes it easier for the parent/legal guardian to upload necessary documents.
If your student has never attended a WCPS school, and you do not have a ParentVUE account, parents/legal guardians will need to create a ParentVUE account in order to begin OLR. This is the account you will use for the entire time your child is a WCPS student to check grades and monitor progress in classes. To begin the ParentVUE account creation process and continue with OLR, CLICK HERE.
You may save your form and come back to it at a later time if you need to stop at any point in the OLR process. Just log back into ParentVUE and click, “Resume OLR”.
The parent/legal guardian will be asked to upload documents required for registration. These can be images of documents or scanned files. You also have the option to bring these required forms to the school. Please check “I will deliver a hard copy to the school instead of uploading it” if you do not want to upload the forms during OLR and prefer to hand-deliver them to the school.
After you submit the OLR form, you will be contacted by school staff to schedule an in-person meeting at the school. Please note, it may take up to one week for the OLR to be fully processed.
If you would like further information on how to register online, you may review the Parent User Guide for Online Registration HERE.
If you have any questions during online registration, please contact your child’s school.
