Title I/Community Schools
Bester Elementary is a Title I School. Title I is a federal program that provides financial assistance to local school systems and schools with a high percentage of Free & Reduced Meal (FARM) rates. Funds through the state may provide additional academic support and learning opportunities to help low-achieving children master challenging curricula and meet state standards in core academic subjects.
Parents/families/community members may request to come to the school to view the Title I Information.
Parents will be provided with a Title I folder at the beginning of the school year that contains information from the district and the school about Title I policies and procedures.
