The Dot Written and Illustrated by Peter H. Reynolds.

I read this book every year, regardless of the grade during the 2nd/3rd week. All of Peter H. Reynolds' books have deep meaning, but are easy to acess for all ages. Each year there is a Dot Day whereby students can find their creativity. It helps students begin exploring growth mindset, and you can also encorporate S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math).

This book is about a girl named Vashti who is struggling to be creative. She thinks that everything she does is not good enough. Vashti has an art teacher who helps her find her creativity and that the possibilities are endless when we believe in ourselves.
