My name is Yaquelin Valencia, I am the Head Coach of Girl's Soccer and the JV Volleyball Coach. I go by Coach Jackie for short. I am an alumni myself of Kennedy High School, graduated in 2010. As a student athlete at Kennedy, I played various sports while attending Kennedy. As an adult now, Coaching is a way of giving back to my community and serving as a role model and leader for our youth. I have been coaching soccer at Kennedy for five years going on six. In 2021 I joined the Volleyball coaching staff as well. At Kennedy our girls soccer program has been shaped to adapt to various skills and meet student athletes where they are at. If you are playing soccer for the first time, we can teach you. Students who want a soccer experience join us and know that in 2021/2022 we hit a record high winning number for the lady eagles, we made it to the second round of playoffs. We were one game short from making it to NCS, we are making strides to get the Kennedy girls soccer team on the map. Join the JV or Var teams, join this upcoming winter season by contacting coach Jackie 510-932-8198. Practice begins in Late October, but you can join other sports to start conditioning.
