Staple Free use a series of folds in order to secure the document rather than using a staple. This function will only work on the photocopiers in J Block, B Block & F Block.
They don't have the same amount as strength as a normal staple but when broken apart the paper doesn't rip like normal staples.
1. Load the document onto the Document Feeder or onto the platen glass.
2. Login to PaperCut and select Copy
3. Scroll down to staples and from the list choose either of the following:
1 Staple-Free Top Left
2 Staple-Free Left
2 Staple-Free Top
1 Staple-Free Top Right
2 Staple-Free Right
4. Enter the number of copies by tapping Quantity
5. Press Start to start printing
This allows you to select a copy ratio to enlarge or reduce the size of your prints.
1. Load the document onto the Document Feeder or onto the platen glass.
2. Login to PaperCut and select Copy
3. On the copy screen tap on:
Reduce/Enlarge
For A3 to A4: 70%
For A4 to A3: 141%
Paper Supply
Select either A3 or A4
4. Enter the number of copies by tapping Quantity
5. Press Start to start printing.
Makes copies of 1-sided or 2-sided documents on one side or both sides of the paper
1. Load documents onto the Document Feeder
2. Login to PaperCut and select Copy
3. On Copy settings tap 2 Sided
4. Choose between the following options:
1→1 Sided: copy a 1-sided document on one side of paper
1→2 Sided: copy a 1-sided document on both sides of paper
2→2 Sided: copy a 2-sided document on both sides of paper
2→1 Sided: copy a 2-sided document on one side of paper
5. Enter the number of copies you want to print by tapping Quantity
6. Press Start to start printing.
Collated: Sorted in sets and arranged in page order
Uncollated: Printed in group according to specified quantity
1. Load the document onto the Document Feeder or onto the platen glass.
2. Login to PaperCut and select Copy
3. On the copy screen tap on scroll down until Copy Output.
4. Choose the option:
Auto
Collated
Uncollated
Uncollated with Separators
Optional: Staple / Hole Punch
5. Once finished type put in a Quantity and click Start to print.
To create an A4 booklet.
Click Printer Properties
2. Under Output Paper Size, change this to A3
3. Under Booklet change to either Fold or Fold and Staple
4. Once selected click OK, enter the number of copies, then click Print
Sample Job lets you print a single copy of your print job to review before the copier prints the remaining copies.

Load the document onto the Document Feeder or onto the platen glass.
Login to PaperCut and select Copy
In the copy interface scroll down to the bottom and tap on the slider button to turn on Sample Job.
Next change the quantity and settings as needed. Then press Start
The photocopier will start printing but only one print will come out. You can check this copy to ensure it is correct.
Once you have checked the printed copy and it is correct, you can click Start.
If the printed copy is not what you wanted, you can either adjust by tapping Change Settings or delete the job by tapping Cancel.
Secure print allows you to temporary store print data on the device with a passcode to protect the files. Files will be printed upon entering the correct passcode.
Click Printer Properties
Under Job Type from the dropdown box select Secure Print.
Next click the pencil icon.
Fill out the fields as required
User ID: Put your name into this field to make it easily identifiable
Secure Print Passcode: Enter a passcode. This is Numbers only.
Job Name: You can either choose to create a custom name or use the existing document name.
Once you have completed the field click OK and press Print.
On the photocopier sign in and release your print job.
Next go back to the PaperCut home screen and select Copy.
On the Copy screen click Jobs, then click Stored Print Jobs
On the job screen select Secure Print
On the Secure Print screen select your name and then enter the passcode you had created.
Select the document and then push Start to start the print.
If you press the magnify glass, this allows you to view the document
After you finished printing, remember to delete the document as it will remain on the copier.
Sample Set lets you print a single copy of your print job to review before the copier prints the remaining copies. This tutorial covers how to print a sample set from your computer. For instructions on using sample job directly from the photocopier, [click here].
Click Printer Properties
Enter the number of Copies you want to print.
Under Job Type from the dropdown box select Secure Print.
Next click the pencil icon.
Fill out the fields
User ID: Enter in your name as the identifier.
Job Name: you can either use the document name or you can create a new name.
After filling out the fields. Click OK and Print
Then at the photocopier release your job.
The photocopier will then print out 1 copy of your print. Check this to see if it is correct.
Next go back to the PaperCut home screen and select Copy.
On the Copy screen click Jobs, then click Stored Print Jobs
Select Sample Set
On the Sample set screen select your name.
Next select the job and then choose either:
Start: Choose this option, if the first print is correct, this will finish printing the rest.
Delete: Choose this option, If there was an error printing the job. This will delete the job.
If you are doing multiple prints using the same settings, you can create a custom setting to make it easy to print a file for next time. The photocopiers come with many default print settings you can use too.
To Save settings in the Printer Properties, fill out all the settings you want to use
Next click * Register to Saved Settings
In the next window fill out the fields
Name: A custom name for the setting
Icon: This is an identifier
Description: A brief explanation of what this does
After filling out the fields click OK to save settings.
Now your custom setting will remain on your computer. By clicking on the icon, it will automatically change the settings in the Printer Properties.
To Export/Import/Delete a Custom Print Setting, click on the Properties icon located next to the Save Settings heading.
To export a Custom Print Setting
Select the print settings you want to export, then select the Export… button.
Save the file to the location you want to save it in.
To import a Custom Print Setting
Press the Import… button and locate the saved custom print settings to wish to import.
Note: You have to already have had to have exported the file beforehand in order to import a custom print setting.
To Delete a Custom Print Setting
Select the saved print settings you want to delete, then click the Bin icon.
