Here are some photos of my field site. There is one photo that I drew out the layout of my field site and two of the field entries I have made in the past year in WTMC science class. Hope you enjoy looking at these pictures!
This is a picture of my garden. It looks a little messy because we are still working on building the back four garden beds.
This is a drawing of my field site I made in my field notebook in the fall semester.
This is a monarch butterfly chrysalis and a caterpillar next to it.
When a butterfly's chrysalis turns transparent, the butterfly is ready to emerge.
After the butterfly has emerged from its chrysalis, it works on unfolding its wings.
Once the butterfly has expanded its wings, its ready to fly and pollinate flowers.
This is a field notebook entry I made in the spring semester. There is a drawing of a tomato plant, a coneflower, and a monarch butterfly.
This is a picture of my strawberry plant right as it is blossoming.
This is a field notebook entry I made in the winter semester. There is a drawing on a sled, my composter (frozen because it got too cold), bare tree branches because the trees haven't yet flowered, and swirls of cold wispy wind.
