Jeff Molush just began his first year as Band Director at West Chester East High School in West Chester, Pennsylvania. His responsibilities include direction of the Honors Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Honors Jazz Band, Lab Jazz Band, and the West Chester East Marching Band.
Mr. Molush is a graduate of Temple University, graduating with his bachelor's in Music Education in 2010 with a trombone concentration and his Master's in Music Education in 2013. During his time at Temple, Mr. Molush performed in the Wind Symphony, Wind Ensemble, Marching Band, and Jazz Band and worked with faculty members including Arthur Chodoroff, Emily Threinen, Matt Brunner, and Terrell Stafford.
Mr. Molush worked with the Cheltenham High School and Springfield (Delco) High School Marching Bands until starting his time at Sanford School in Hockessin, DE. Mr. Molush taught there from 2016 until 2021. There, his classes included Middle and High School Concert Band, Jazz Band, History of Pop, Music Technology, and A Cappella club. He was also a student advisor, Performing Arts Department Chair, and technical director for plays and musicals.
Outside of his teaching career at East, Mr. Molush teaches private trombone lessons to any interested students. His professional affiliations include: NAfME, PMEA, DMEA, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. He lives in Havertown with his wife and two cats, is a fanatical Philadelphia Sports fan, and a huge Star Wars nerd.
