West Branch is now excited to offer its online Academy for students in grades K-12. Regarding our younger Warriors, K-5 uses the Elementary and Intermediate Content through Edgenuity.

• Students will have West Branch teachers as online teachers in order to support them in their curriculum, learning and progress.

• K-5 Online classes are both digital AND consumable (meaning students also have workbooks and manipulatives too). This approach is the best for students in grades K-5.

• Our students benefit from staying a West Branch student vs. leaving for some online for profit school in order to become a number or a dollar sign.

• Each K-12 Warrior Academy student will be loaned a district Chromebook in order to support online learning through Warrior Academy.

In partnership with Edgenuity Curriculum, Warrior Academy offers curriculum for students in kindergarten through fifth grade who complete all of their learning online. This elementary school online curriculum features over 30 standards-aligned courses that are taught by West Branch's wonderful state-certified (ODE) instructors.

Students will complete age-appropriate, engaging lessons with access to tools that support learning, including text to speech, audio and translation, text and picture dictionaries, and more. Educators and parents have the tools to easily monitor student progress and performance by utilizing statistics, grading and feedback tools, curriculum maps, and communication tools.

By offering this curriculum, West Branch is giving our youngest Warriors a well-rounded, high-quality education, along with more ownership over their learning, which is one of the first steps in developing a lifelong desire to learn.
