It is the teacher's individual responsibility to complete the SCECH form for the district-provided professional development as outlined below.
In addition, please keep a file of your agenda(s) and notes for each meeting. This documentation could be requested if the state selected you for an audit.
If you attend training outside of the DPPD below, then the facilitator of the training must submit the SCECH hours to the state.
2024-25 District Provided SCECH Hours
August 27th - 3 SCECHs
August 28th - 6 SCECHs
November 7th - 6.5 SCECHs
January 15th - 6.5 SCECHs
Ongoing PLC Hours - 11 SCECHs
Total - 33 hours

Our goal is to provide learning opportunities for our staff that are ongoing and relevant. In addition, all professional development must align with the district improvement goals.
If you have identified a potential opportunity that aligns with the district improvement goals, then please work with your administrator to complete the request form within Frontline Central under the Professional Growth tab.
You will receive confirmation from the curriculum department if the request is approved. Approvals are based on the request being reasonable, aligned with the district goals, and that funding is available.
